Radio
City Music Hall 1260 Avenue of the Americas Rockefeller Center New York City NY 10020 212 - 247-4777 , 212 - 632-3555 Groups
A visit
to New York City would be incomplete without a glimpse of
the famed Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center. This
wonderful example of art deco was constructed in the 1930's.
At that time, the huge theater was the place for first run
movies and the high kicking spectacle of the Rockettes.
The
year 1979 ended a period of decay for the Radio City Music
Hall. Its interiors were restored so today the visitor can
once again revel in its opulence. A holiday visit should
be planned if the tourist hopes to see the Rockettes.
